Policies and liability form, updated 09/15/2024.
Payment: Payment is accepted via cash, check, or Zelle. We do not currently accept payment via online payment methods other than Zelle or credit cards.
Training packages: Personal training packages must be purchased in advance unless otherwise agreed upon. Package sizes range depending on your specific needs. Per-session payment is also an option, but if a session is canceled within the 24-hour late-cancel policy window, that session’s fee will be due even if it was the last planned session.
24h cancellation and no-show policy: 24 hours of notice (further noted as "24h") is required if you need to cancel your scheduled training session to avoid a session being pulled from your training package or being charged a late-cancel fee (the price of one full session) for single-session agreements. If you do not come ("no-show") to your virtual or in-personal training appointment, the session will be pulled from the package or be due if you purchase single sessions, even if it is your last session.
Injuries/Pre-existing conditions: You will let us know of any pre-existing condition or injury at the start of any package and session in which a new injury or pre-existing condition is present. You will also let us know if an exercise does not feel appropriate for your body so we may modify or change the exercise to help mitigate injury risk. If you do not let us know, we do not assume liability for injuries that result from the lack of proper communication. You know how your body feels even if the form is correct.
Price increase: We will let you know in advance if there will be any price increases.
Session duration: If you need to start a session late or end early, you understand that the time duration that was originally scheduled is what will be pulled from your personal training package. Time cannot be added to subsequent sessions or made up unless otherwise agreed.
Inconsistent training: In the event that you have a recurring time slot but continuously cancel or have to reschedule your sessions, even with a 24h+ notice, we reserve the right to change your recurring time slot.
Sessions' expiration: Sessions purchased must be used within one (1) calendar year, otherise they will expire and a new package must be purchased to continue training.
Semi-private training: If one person cancels within the 24h period of a semi-private personal training sesion, it is up to the participants to decide how payment will be remitted to Connie, Gina, and/or Stefon. Full payment for the session is still required.
Giving away held scheduled time: If you are not consistent with your training, we cannot hold your time slot and will offer it to another person after discussing with you. If we do not hear back within 48 hours after attempting contact, we will give away your time slot. Please understand this is an operating business and we don't make an income if you aren't meeting/if the 24h cancelation policy doesn't apply to canceled sessions. We'll work with you to find a new recurring time but cannot guarantee the time slot if you will not remain consistent. In this event, we're happy to let you know weekly when we have openings. There is the option to pay regardless of if we meet to retain your scheduled time.
Time requests: We'll do our best to accommodate your time requests, however, we cannot guarantee that the time you want is available.
15-minute grace period: If you are 15 minutes late to a session and are unresponsive to being contacted, we will assume you will not be coming and will charge the session as a no-show appointment. The session will either be pulled from your package or charged separately if you pay per session. If this is a recurring event, packages may be required.
